What you’ll need
Makes 2 small bowls
- ½ cup Coin Khakhra, loosely broken
- 1 cup puffed rice
- ¼ cup cooked chickpeas, drained
- ¼ cup chopped cucumber
- ¼ cup chopped tomato
- 1 tbsp green chutney
- 1 tbsp tamarind chutney
- 2 tbsp sev
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander
Puffed rice, fresh vegetables and chutneys, with khakhra pieces folded in at the very end.

Makes 2 small bowls
Mix the drained chickpeas, cucumber, tomato and coriander in a bowl. Keep the puffed rice, khakhra and sev separate for now.
Just before eating, add the puffed rice and both chutneys. Toss lightly; taste before adding any extra seasoning.
Fold in the broken khakhra, top with sev and divide between two bowls. Serve straight away.
Preparing ahead? Keep the wet mix and the crunchy ingredients apart until serving.
